CLEVELAND, OH - Wittenberg's women's cross country team finished second at the 2024 North Coast Atlantic Conference (NCAC) Championships on Sunday, Nov. 3, at the LaVern Gibson Championship Course in Terre Haute, Indiana, 23 points behind event host DePauw for the team title. The second-place finish broke a two-year run atop the league standings for the Tigers.
Senior Megan Keys (Dublin, OH/Jerome) led the way for Wittenberg as she placed a team-best fourth to earn her first-team All-NCAC. It was the third All-NCAC designation for Keys, who captured first-team in 2023 and third-team in 2022. Sophomore Maddi Clark (Mentor, OH/Mentor) finished fifth to also earned first-team All-NCAC, and junior Emma Hawk (Marion, OH/River Valley) rounded out Wittenberg's top-10 finishers, placing seventh to also earn first-team All-NCAC honors. Hawk repeated as a first-team honoree from 2023 after also collecting second-team laurels in 2022.
Junior Mackenzie Kelley (Altoona, PA/Altoona Area) notched a 14th-place finish and tallied second-team All-NCAC accolades.
