Cross Country Competes in Jenna Strong Invitational

Wilmington, OH- Wilmington College hosted the Jenna Strong Invitational for men's and women's cross country. The Tigers came out in places of 29th (women) and 26th (men).

Senior, Kate Hodson led the women with a time of 22:22.3, she was followed by fellow senior, Madison Nadler with a time of 23:39.1. Sophomore, Sydney Shannon was only ten seconds off as the Tigers number three runner at 23:49.9. Freshmen, Mya Wolfe (24:54.8) and Hannah Hayes (28:02.7) were able to score for Wittenberg and place in the top five for the team. The ladies placed 29the out of 33 teams with 876 points (136-171-175-189-205).

The men were able to score 691 points (118-129-132-145-167-201) to put them in 26th place out of 36 teams. Junior, Deven Ramsey led the tigers with a time of 28:34.2. Freshman, Ian McCandlish was Wittenberg's number two runner with a time of 28:53.8. Junior, Miles Caine followed closely behind, finishing at 28:55.7. Sophomore, Jack Chambers 29:16.5, freshmen, Caden Zellner (29:53.1) and Evan Sugrue (31:49.5) contributed to the Tigers 691 points.
