Tigers Place 7th at OWU Invitational

Powell, OH- Wittenberg women's cross country tallied 161 points in the Ohio Wesleyan Invitational to put them in seventh place out of nine teams.

Lauren Welker was a top finisher for the Tigers with a time of 25:00.0 in 22nd place. She was followed by Elizabeth Canright who placed 27th with a time of 25:15.5. Erika Bournival (25:46.2), Caroline Arndt (26:41.4), Annalee Lynn (26:50.8), Morgan Ely (27:12.8), and Kate Hodson (28:43.5) were among the Tigers top seven.

On the men's side, Wittenberg had an 8th place finish as a team with 223 points. Ryan Zimmerman was the top finisher for the team placing 34th out of 129 with a time of 27:56.4. Cullen Sainey followed close behind at 38th place and a time of 28:03.9. Andrew Reese was also able to stay close with a time of 28:43.9 putting him in 56th place. Deven Ramsey (29:12.9), Evan Cordle (29:58.3), Jack Chambers (30:04.4), and Caden Zellner (30:10.1) were in the top seven for the Tigers.
