Tom Supan

After a successful undergraduate men's volleyball career at Hiram College for four years and Wittenberg University for two years while earned a graduate degree, Tom Supan joined the Tigers' women's volleyball coaching staff in 2024.

A native of Medina, Ohio, Supan earned three first-team All-Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference awards in his four years at Hiram, highlighted by conference player of the year honors in 2021. After earning his undergraduate degree in secondary education, Supan transferred to Wittenberg to play two additional seasons. He earned first-team All-Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League honors in 2023 and second-team honors in 2024 after leading the team and ranking seventh in the MCVL in digs with 206, while his 31 aces ranked second on the team and fifth in the league. He finished with a .226 hitting percentage in 2024 to go with 201 kills and 31 blocks, both of which ranked third on the team.

Supan's dig total ranks fourth-all-time at Wittenberg for a single season. The program record-holder for career aces with 77, he finished his career ranked sixth in career digs with 339 and ninth in career kills with 420. He earned a master's degree in athletic coaching from Wittenberg in 2024.
