Offensive Women's Volleyball Athlete of the Week – Tyler Linkhart, Wittenberg
Wittenberg senior Tyler Linkhart (Yellow Springs, OH/Yellow Springs) helped the Tigers close out the 2023 regular season, winning six-straight matches, including three last week. Linkhart reached a career milestone in Wittenberg's first match of the week, a 3-0 win over Muskingum, as she surpassed 1,000 kills. Combined with the Tigers' wins over Heidelberg (3-0) and Ohio Northern (3-1), Linkhart piled up 44 kills, a .295 hitting percentage, 19 digs, and five service aces.
Defensive Women's Volleyball Athlete of the Week – Kait Colahan, Wittenberg
Wittenberg first-year Kait Colohan (Vermillion, OH/Vermillion) played a key role in the Tigers perfect 3-0 week, primarily with her presence at the net. She recorded two blocks apiece in wins over Muskingum (3-0) and Heidelberg (3-0), but she saved her best performance for last, contributing a match-high six blocks in a 3-1 win over Ohio Northern to go along with 16 kills and a .519 hitting percentage. On the week, the middle blocker tallied 10 blocks, 10 dig, and 27 kills, with a .420 hitting percentage.
