No. 19 Tigers Sweep Otterbein

Westerville, OH - The No. 19  Tigers rolled past the Otterbein University Cardinals in a 3-0 match [25-21, 25-23, 25-20]. Katie Hiestand led the Tigers offense with eighteen kills and added sixteen digs in the matchup. Aubrey Cox was a vital part of the Tigers offense, adding 10 kills, and five digs. Taylor Yontz led both teams in digs, finishing with 21 on the evening.

Each set, the Tigers added kills to the Cardinals game totaling 45 kills. The Tigers would end the night with a .241 kill percentage. Wittenberg's defense worked just as hard, only allowing Otterbein a kill percentage of .163. The Tigers tallied 12 kills in the opening set of the match, logging a .167 kill percentage and holding Otterbein to a .091 hitting percentage to start the match. The Tigers kept the offense pumping in the second set logging a .150 hitting percentage on 40 total attacks with just nine errors. Wittenberg closed out the match, tallying a .400 hitting percentage with 18 kills on 40 total attacks, and just two errors.
