CEDARVILLE — The Wittenberg women's indoor track and field team team placed second at the Cedarville Collegiate Invite on Friday night.
The Basics
- Venue: Doden Field House - Cedarville, Ohio
- Wittenberg scored 82.5 points and placed second of 16 teams at the meet.
- Cedarville won the team title with 192 points.
- Central State (80 points) rounded out the top three.
- The meet ended around 1 a.m. on Saturday morning.
Wittenberg's Top Performers
- Junior Reese Neumeyer (Whitehouse, Ohio/Anthony Wayne) finsihed third in the 60-meter hurdles in 9.54 seconds.
- Junior Meghan Frazier (Alliance, Ohio/Alliance) won the 400-meter dash in 58.03 seconds and added a third-place finish in the 60-meter dash in 7.92 seconds.
- Wittenberg placed first and second in the 4x200 meter relay in 1:47.66 and 1:50.86, respectively. Members included junior Zora Shakhan (Pickerington, Ohio/Central), junior Haleigh Willison (Crooksville, Ohio/Crooksville), freshman Jenna Delp (Canton, Ohio/GlenOak), junior Lindsey Magoteaux (Sidney, Ohio/Lehman), freshman Haley Troy (West Chester, Ohio/Lakota West), Neumeyer, freshman Michaela Stroder (Springfield, Ohio/Springfield) and freshman Morgan Hunter (Rockford, Ohio/Parkway).
- Junior Julissa Williams (Lorain, Ohio/Lorain) added a second-place finish in the long jump with a mark of 5.04 meters.
- Sophomore Tiffany Hix (Prospect, Ohio/Elgin) was second in the triple jump with a mark of 10.50 meters and fifth in the pole vault with a mark of 3.55 meters.
- Sophomore Emma Doerman (West Chester, Ohio/Lakota West) finished seventh in the shot put with a mark of 10.79 meters.
