Tiffin, OH- Wittenberg headed to Tiffin Ohio to compete in the Tiffin Reggie Thomas Classic meet this past weekend. The Tigers sent six student-athletes to compete and all six were able to place in the top three in an event.
Alexis Gray came in third place in the 1500-meter race with a time of 4:46.03, beating out Division I competitors. Alexis Johnson also competed at the Tiffin Reggie Thomas Classic in the women's long jump and 200-meter race. Johnson took home first in the long jump with a distance of 5.50m and placed 10th with a time of 26.78 out of 42 other runners. The men's 4x400-meter relay team, composed of Ian McCandlish, Austyn Albanese, Ezekiel Bennett, and Deven Ramsey placed third with a time of 3:20.18.
Up Next: Wittenberg will return home to compete in their Wittenberg Invite on April 24th. Only pre-registered spectators will be allowed attendance at the meet but fans will be able to watch the action at wittenbergtigers.com
