
| CSCAA Fall 2024 All-America Teams release |
SPRINGFIELD, OH — The Wittenberg women's swimming and diving team has been named to the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2024 semester.
To qualify for this prestigious recognition, teams had to earn a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 during the Spring 2024 semester. Under head coach Samantha Benedict, the Wittenberg women's team boasted a cumulative GPA of 3.65.
Wittenberg's women's team was among 781 teams from 459 institutions representing 19,209 student-athletes to earn the recognition. Of the selected teams, 654 achieved a GPA of 3.30 or above.
Samantha Barany, Executive Director of the CSCAA, commented on the impressive accomplishments, saying, "The commitment to academic excellence demonstrated by these teams is truly admirable. It is inspiring to see student-athletes excel both in the pool and in the classroom. The CSCAA takes great pride in honoring and celebrating their dedication and achievements."
