Hellmann Closes Season With Impressive 3 Meter Finish

Indianapolis, IN -- Diver Emma Hellmann closed out her senior season in the 3 meter dive, placing 11th in the division 3 national championship with a score of 432.15 in the consolation final. With this finish and coming in 5th in the 1 meter dive, Hellmann has been named a two-time All-American, the first Tiger since 2012 and is the first NCAC diver of the year since 2007. 

During her Wittenberg campaign, Hellmann consistently broke the 1 meter and 3 meter diving records, officially leaving her name in the record book with 453.05 points in the 1 meter dive with 11 dives and 503.5 points through 11 dives for the 3 meter dive - which is also the new NCAC record. Through six dives, she also took the records, 276.60 in the 1 meter and 294.90 in the 3 meter. 

Hellmann has had a very successful career at Wittenberg as she will be graduating in May 2022. Congratulations on a very successful and memorable season and career!
