Katie Robinson was named the 11th Head Coach in Wittenberg women’s soccer history in 2017. Robinson was promoted to the role of Senior Woman Administrator (SWA) in Wittenberg's Department of Athletics in 2020, and in 2023 she added the title of Assistant Director of Athletics for Internal Operations.

Wittenberg Highlights
- The 2024 non-conference schedule was highlighted by a win over nationally ranked Calvin and a tie with nationally ranked Case Western. However, after a slow start to the conference schedule, the Tigers finished strong again, winning their last two games to grab the fourth seed in the NCAC Tournament, setting the stage for an upset of top-seeded Denison in the semifinals. The Tigers lost to DePauw, 2-1 in the title game despite outshooting the host Tigers, 19-4. Chamberlain Browning, Grace Koperna, and Caroline Stupp earned NCAC All-Tournament Team; Browning and Brooke Mullis earned first-team All-NCAC, while Stupp and Koperna were selected to the second-team.
- In 2023, Wittenberg finished the regular season with five straight wins to capture the NCAC regular season title. After the season, Brooke Mullis and Grace Koperna earned first-team All-NCAC and Alex Hill and Lily Winkle earned second-team All-NCAC.
- In 2022, four Tigers earned All-NCAC honors under Coach Robinson's leadership, with Andi Meeks on first team, Alex Hill and Brooke Peters on second team, and Sophia Grossman on third team.
- The Tigers captured their second NCAC Tournament title under Coach Robinson in 2021, clinched with a 3-2 road win over the College of Wooster in the final regular season game.
- After winning the NCAC Tournament title in 2021, six Tigers earned All-NCAC honors, including four with first-team designations (Hannah Heald, Brooke Peters, Emily Wile and Cassidy Webber). Sophia Grossman earned second team and Brooke Mullis collected Honorable Mention.
- Under Robinson, Wittenberg women's soccer players have earned two NCAC Newcomer of the Year honors (Brooke Peters in 2019; Sydney Weaver in 2018), as Peters earned Second Team All-NCAC honors as well. Emily Wile topped the postseason award-winners for the Tigers in 2019, earning United Soccer Coaches Association All-Region honors. Kaitlyn Kreig earned All-NCAC Honorable Mention honors, along with teammates Emma Thacker and Cassidy Webber.
- Robinson coached her first NCAC Newcomer of the Year in 2018 in Megan Davis, who also earned first-team All-NCAC. Second-team all-conference honors went to Shannon Brueck and Sydney Weaver.
- The Tigers won five of their last six games under Robinson’s leadership to capture their fifth NCAC Tournament Championship title in 2017. Wittenberg advanced to the program's seventh NCAA Tournament, taking down Thomas More College with a thrilling 3-2 (OT) result. The Tigers' tournament run came to an end against regional host Washington (Mo.) with a heartbreaking 1-0 loss after conceding a goal in the 87th minute. Five Tigers earned All-NCAC honors following the 2017 season, including three first-team honorees (Jordyn Wright, Megan Davis, Emma Thacker). All-NCAC Honorable Mention went to Kaitlyn Krieg and Kenzie Mason. Jordyn Wright and Emma Thacker collected third-team All-Great Lakes Region honors from the United Soccer Coaches Association. And Davis, Thacker, and Wright were all named All-Ohio by the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association.
Prior Coaching Highlights
- As ONU's top assistant, the Polar Bears posted records of 37-18-4 overall and 21-5-1 in the OAC in her three year with the team, highlighted by winning the 2016 OAC regular season crown.
- The Polar Bears advanced to the OAC Tournament semifinals in 2014 and the OAC Tournament finals in 2015 and 2016.
- While at ONU, Robinson's student-athletes earned 2016 OAC Freshman of the Year and Goalkeeper of the Year, 2015 OAC Midfielder of the Year and Goalkeeper of the Year, 2014 OAC Forward of the Year, and five players earned NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region honors.
- Student-athletes under Robinson's guidance combined for a 3.4 cumulative team GPA with a fall 2016 team GPA of 3.53, during her time at ONU.
- Robinson coached and guided a 2016 NSCAA Scholar All-American in 2016, and also guided countless student-athletes who earned Academic All-OAC honors and Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association Academic All-Ohio Honors.
- As the top assistant at Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland - Robinson helped guide the Gophers to tie the best record in program history at 12-4-2.
- During her time at Goucher, Robinson helped produce five All-Landmark Conference and two NSCAA All Mid-Atlantic Region selections.
- Before her arriving at ONU, Robinson served as an assistant at Capital for one season and helped the Crusaders make a run to the NCAA Final Four
Playing Career
- Robinson was a three-year letterwinner for Capital, three-time All-OAC, and three-time NSCAA All-Great Lakes Region honoree, earning 2008 Ohio Athletic Conference Forward of the Year.
- During her time at Capital, Robinson helped lead the Crusaders to the OAC Tournament championship and an appearance in the NCAA Division III Tournament in 2007.
- Robinson began her collegiate career at the University of North Carolina Charlotte. In her first season with the 49ers, Robinson helped lead UNC-Charlotte to an Atlantic 10 Conference Championship, with an overall record of 12-5-3.
