Chuck Crawford joined Wittenberg's women's soccer coaching staff in 2016, working with the program's goalkeepers.
A 1993 graduate of St. Francis DeSales High School (Columbus), where he played on the state championship team, Crawford was a four-year starter in goal at the University of Findlay. Also a team captain as a senior, Crawford obtained his bachelor's degree in education degree.
Before starting his career as a high school science teacher, Crawford was a graduate assistant to the soccer program at Findlay, working with goalkeepers on both the men’s and women’s teams. Crawford started his high school coaching career in 1998 with the boys’ team at Dublin Scioto High School. His coaching tenure has led him to positions as head coach of the girls at Dublin Scioto & Dublin Jerome, an assistant coach at Bexley High School, and associate head coach at Bishop Hartley High School in Columbus.
Crawford holds USSF and NSCAA coaching licenses and was named Central District Assistant Coach of the Year in 2012. Crawford and his wife Carla reside in Plain City with their son Cayden.
