Carly Dean joined the Wittenberg Women’s Soccer staff in February 2025.

A native of Sidney, Ohio, Dean joined the Tigers' staff after completing her academic and athletic career at Eastern Kentucky University. She was a two-time all-conference goalkeeper at Sidney High School before spending her final two prep years at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. She began her intercollegiate career as the University of Louisiana for one season before playing three seasons at Eastern Kentucky.

Dean began her coaching career as a goalkeeper coach for Lexington Sporting Club in Lexington, Kentucky, in 2022. She has worked closely with Alex Moody, director of youth goalkeeping, and USL League One and Superleague goalkeepers to train youth players, and she has also coached in various high school settings, University ID camps, and youth camps.

Dean, who holds a USSF D License and United Soccer Coaches Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma, graduated from Eastern Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management in 2023 and a Master of Science in Exercise and Sport Science in 2024.
