Pittsburgh, PA- Wittenberg headed to Pittsburgh to take on the nationally ranked Carnegie Mellon Tartans in the Tigers fourth match-up of the season. Wittenberg, who was 0-2-1 heading into the match had a tough battle ahead of them against the #15 Tartans.
The Tigers midfield were able to get through Carnegie defense a handful of times but were unable to connect with the net on their attempts. Getting through with shots were Brooke Peters, Alex Hill, and Paige Kaiser. The Tartans were able to put three in by the end of 90 minutes of play for a 3-0 loss on the Tiger's end.
Leaders: The Tigers were led by junior goalkeeper, Badin Clark, in her fourth start of the season with five saves. Clark's save total on the year now sits at 14.
NCAC Leaders: Alex Hill sits in the top ten for shots taken in the NCAC at number five with six shots. Brooke Peters and Brooke Mullis both sit in the top ten for assists tied with one each.
