Humbaugh Leads Tigers to Third Place Finish at Heidelberg Fall Invite

Fostoria, OH – The Wittenberg Tiger women's golf team secured a third-place finish at the Heidelberg Women's Fall Invitational over the weekend from Fostoria Country Club.

Leading the Tiger effort was Hillary Humbaugh with rounds of 76-74, carding a 36-hole score of 150 (+6). Humbaugh finished just five shots off the event winner from Ohio Northern that posted a score of 145 (+1).

As a team, the Tigers improved day-to-day with an opening round of 322 before dropping 13 strokes on the second day to card a 309 on the final day as a team, finishing with a 631 (+55).

Izzy Selby cracked the top 10 for the Tiger scoring effort with rounds of 81 and 73, finishing with a 36-hole score of 150 (+10).

Ellen Frame finished with a T-16 finish, carding rounds of 82-78, coming in at 16 over par, 160.

Breaking into the top 25, Halley McNair finished at (+23) 167 with rounds of 83-84, respectively.

Anna Longbrake rounded out the Wittenberg scoring effort with rounds of 94-89.
