Women's Golf Completes Season At NCAC Championships

Mansfield, OH – The Wittenberg Tiger Women's Golf team took on the North Coast Athletic Conference Championships over the weekend. The 54-hole event was hosted by the Westbrook Country Club, laying out over 5800-yards for a par 73. The Tigers took fifth-place as a team on the weekend, posting rounds of 389-371-386 for a total of 1146 (+270), edging out the Battling Bishops from Ohio Wesleyan.

Morgan Pagel set the pace for the Tigers, earning a 16th place finish. Pagel carded rounds of 97-91-93, coming in at 281 (+62). Ellen Frame cracked the top 20 with a 19th place finish for Wittenberg. Frame rounded out her spring season with rounds of 98-89-96 for a 54-hole total of 283 (+64). The next two Tiger finishers came in back-to-back with Halley McNair at 21st and Mazie Reece at 22nd. McNair finished the weekend with a three-day score of 287 (+68), posting rounds of 99-92-96. Reece tallied a 295 (+76) through 54-holes with scores of 95-99-101.
