Tigers Take On IU East Spring Invitational

Richmond, IN – The Wittenberg Tiger Women's Golf team competed at the IU East Spring Invitational from the Forest Hills Country Club on April 15-16. The Tigers captured a fifth place finish amongst the field of eight teams, compiling a score of 713 with rounds of 356 and 357, as a team.

Ellen Frame set the pace for Wittenberg, earning a fifth-place finish as an individual with back-to-back rounds of 82. Frame finished with a 36-hole score of 164. Halley McNair cracked the top 20, finishing in a T18 position with rounds of 89 and 91 for a 36-hole score of 180. Mazie Reece finished at 20th amongst the field of 40-plus competitors, carding rounds of 88 and 93 for a 181. Morgan Pagel rounded out the Tiger scoring effort with a 27th place finish with rounds of 97 and 91.

Wittenberg will return to competition from the Buckeye State, traveling to the Apple Valley Golf Course in Howard, Ohio to take on the field at the NCAC/OAC Clash In Columbus.
