Tiger Women's Golf Take Third Place At Eva Shorb Weiskopf Memorial

Wooster, OH – The Wittenberg Tiger Women's golf team returned to action from the Eva Shorb Weiskopf Memorial over the weekend. The two-day event played at the Wooster Country Club saw the Tigers capture a third-place finish amongst the field of nine teams. Wittenberg posted a team score of 745 (+169) as a team, following hosts and tournament winners the College of Wooster with a score of 722 (+146) and the University of Mount Union with a 739 (+163).

Ellen Frame posted a 36-hole score of 170 (+26) with an opening round score of 87. Frame followed-up with a closing round of 83, capturing a third-place finish. Halley McNair earned the Tigers second top 10 finish of the tournament, finishing in 7th place amongst the field of 50 competitors. McNair posted rounds of 93 and 90, carding a two-day score of 183 (+39). Cracking the top 20, Mazie Reece finished in at T-13 with scores of 99 and 92, finishing with a final score of 191 (+47). Morgan Pagel rounded out the Tiger scoring with a T-30 finish, posting rounds of 99 and 102.
