
The North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) Student-Athlete of the Week highlights two conference individuals each week, one male and one female, who excel in one or more of the following areas: academics, commitment, community service, leadership, and perseverance. Student-athletes have been nominated by their respective schools and are from the current traditional playing season. This week's honorees are Wittenberg women's golf senior Jordan Jarrett (St. Mary's, Ontario/St. Marys DCVI) and Denison cross country senior Jacob Rains (Silver Springs, MD/Bethesda-Chevy Chase).
Jarrett is a senior on the Wittenberg women's golf team, majoring in marketing and accounting. Jarrett has been named to the Wittenberg Dean's List, NCAC Academic Honor Roll, and has earned WGCA Scholar All-America laurels. While on campus, Jarrett has been an active member of the Tigers Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and is an active supporter of all her fellow Tigers around campus. An active member of Delta Gamma, Jarrett serves as the Vice President of Finance for her sorority. Jarrett is also a member of the CABLE program on campus (Communication and Business Leadership Experience.
