Wooster, OH- The Tigers headed to Wooster, Ohio to take on the Fighting Scots of Wooster. Wittenberg who currently sits at number one in the NCAC looked to add another win on the season against an opponent who they have a .851 success rate over, with only one loss to Wooster since 2013. With a score of 99-65 Wittenberg goes 4-0 in conference play, remaining number one in the NCAC.
The Tigers shot 51.2% from the field, 36.0% in three points, and 100% from the line going 6-6. Wittenberg was able to put 99 points on the board being led by six different Tigers with double digits including Evie Wolshire, Jade Simpson, Kelsey Ragan, Jazmyn Gaines-Burns, Jaida Malone, and Molly Scott. Defensively, the Tigers were backed by Jade Simpson with twelve rebounds.
Wittenberg was able to put 30 points on the board in just the first quarter and added another 22 to head into the half with a very comfortable 52-29 lead. Coming out of the locker room, Wittenberg continued to put the hammer down on the College of Wooster with 26 points in the third quarter and 21 points in the fourth for a final score of 99-65. This marks the Red & White's eighth straight win and fourth conference win of the season.
