What is your favorite/best memory as a student-athlete at Wittenberg?

My favorite memories would have to be the spring break trips that we have taken every year. The team chemistry just seems to flow, and bonds are created that can never be broken. Stepping out on the dirt for the first time for the new season is an awesome feeling.

What do you love most about being a Wittenberg Tiger?

Tiger Up. Everyone knows what it means in the moment and it is energizing to know that people have your back and are there to support you.

Outside of Athletics, who is the one campus staff or faculty member that had the most impact on you during your time at Wittenberg?

Professor Hill. While we did not get to spend much time together in the classroom, she has taught me a lot that I am grateful for.

What is one piece of advice you would like to leave for the underclassmen or any recruits looking to become a part of your team in the future?

Go out there and give it your all. Being a part of this team is much more than just being a college softball player. You get to experience the greatest achievements and failures together, but the best part is that you're always together. Know that your team has your back and just be willing to put it all on the line for them.

Why should a High School Prospect choose Wittenberg?

Wittenberg has an amazing atmosphere that can't be touched. Everyone is always working hard on and off the field. The coaching staff and the professors are something to be very thankful for.

What is your favorite/best memory as a student-athlete at Wittenberg?

My favorite memory of being a student-athlete at Wittenberg was the past week on spring break. We played really well as a team and we were building amazing team chemistry on and off the field. While the end of the week was not what we thought it would be, I wouldn't have wanted to be with any other group of girls.

What do you love most about being a Wittenberg Tiger?

I love being able to represent the school that I love with the best group of girls that I could have asked for as teammates. Every time we take the field, we know that we have the full support of the Wittenberg community behind us. The community feeling at Wittenberg can't be replicated anywhere else.

Outside of Athletics, who is the one campus staff or faculty member that had the most impact on you during your time at Wittenberg?

Dr. George in the physics department has had a huge impact on me since New Student Days. She has always had my best interest in mind, helped me through challenging courses, and been there to help me whenever I needed it. She was always willing to work with my softball schedule and has helped me merge all my academic interests over the past four years. I wouldn't be the student or scientist I am today without her guidance.

What is one piece of advice you would like to leave for the underclassmen or any recruits looking to become a part of your team in the future?

Don't take this sport or experience for granted. The past week has shown us that sports can be taken from us in the blink of an eye, so play every pitch like it could be your last. Your four years of college fly by, so take in every moment as they come.

Why should a High School Prospect choose Wittenberg?

Over the past week, I have gotten a lot of emails about how classes will work online but each of those emails has first asked me how I was doing and if there was anything I needed. Wittenberg is a place that cares about you as a person first, the faculty and staff will go out of their way to help you and make you feel at home and support you any way they can. I couldn't have asked for a better place to call home for the past four years.
