Kolka Takes Third Place At NCAC Championships

Wooster, OH – The Wittenberg Tiger Men's Cross Country program traveled to the College of Wooster for the 2022 North Coast Athletic Conference Championships over the weekend.

The Men had a solid day of competition, led by Conor Kolka, securing a third-place finish overall, running a time of 26:33.5 and earning First Team All-NCAC honors. As a team, Wittenberg scored 164 points for an 8th place finish on the day.

Lucas Eisele was the second Tiger to cross the line, cracking the top 25 in his first conference championship appearance, placing 25th overall, running a time of 28:03.1. Peter Caine was the third Tiger down the chute, crossing the line 44th overall. Caine ran a time of 29:02.0. Following Caine, Zayden Taylor posted a time of 29:43.7, finishing 56th overall. Senior Dak Smith came up next for the Tigers, crossing the line in a time of 30:18.0, earning 66th overall finish.

Wittenberg will now set their sites on the NCAA Regional meet hosted by Hope College on Saturday, November 12.
