MCVL Defensive Player of the Week (February 11) - Jake Downs, Wittenberg
Junior libero Jake Downs (Cincinnati, OH / Milford) led Wittenberg in digs in all three matches last week. The Tigers lost 3-0 to Benedictine on Friday, February 7, and then split a pair of 3-2 matches on Saturday, February 8, dropping a heartbreaker to Augustana to start the day before rallying past MSOE in the evening. In three matches, Downs piled up 48 digs.
