Tigers Suffer Road Loss

Adrian, MI- Wittenberg was back on the road for a match-up with the Bulldogs of Adrian College. The Red and White, who were originally scheduled to play against the Bulldogs in a double header in February, fell in a three-set match.

The most points by Wittenberg were put up in the first set with 17, but were unable to stop Adrian who put up 25 to take the first set. The Tigers could not come back in the second or third set as the Bulldogs were able to slip away with a 25-15 and 25-11 score to sweep the match.

Wittenberg was led by Russ Burke with six kills on the night. The senior leads the team with a total of 97 kills this season. Burke was followed by Chris Goertz, who is second on the team in kills, with five. Cameron Menini continued to lead the Tigers in digs, adding 13 to his career total of 108.
