Springfield, Ohio – Freshman Deion Woodson was named Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League Offensive Player of the Week. Woodson helped lead the Tigers to three straight wins this weekend at Hiram College. The freshman outside broke out on Friday night against St. John Fisher logging 10 kills against the Cardinals. Woodson tabbed an efficient night, converting on 17 attacks with just two errors for a .471 attack percentage. Woodson didn't miss a step on day two, recording a team-high 17 kills on 29 attack attempts, leading to a .448 attack percentage in the first match against Penn. St.-Behrend. Keeping the efficiency high in the final match, Woodson tallied eight kills on 11 attack attempts.
