Wittenberg Takes Fourth In Concord

Concord, OH- Wittenberg traveled to Muskingum University for the Muskie Pride Meet, where the women's team took an overall place of third with 103.5 and a fourth-place finish on the men's side with 87.5 points.

On the women's side Tymeerah De'Armond crossed the line at 1:20.70 in the 500m for a first-place finish. Also taking first in the 500m for the men was Zeke Bennett with a time of 66.63 followed by Ian McCandlish in second with a time of 67.21. Adding to the list of first place finishes for the Tigers was Conor Kolka in the men's 3000m at 8:48.56.

Crossing the line in second-place for the women's 800m was Abigail Danne with a time of 2:42.06. Taking home another, second-place was Corin Turkovich in the women's 3000m at 10:29.47.

Matthew Drovdlic took a third-place finish in the men's 60m with a time of 7.19 with an improvement from 7.23 in the prelims. Riley Payne also took a third-place finish with a time of 8.91 in the men's 60m hurdles. Competing in the men's 4x400 relay was Grayson Ring, McCandlish, Drovdlic, and Zayden Taylor with a second-place finish and time of 4:22.45. Competing in the women's 4x400 relay was Danne, Lainee Valentine, De'Armond, and Kyngston Collins with a third-place finish and time of 4:22.45.

In field events, the Red & White took first in the men's and women's high jump with a 1.6m performance from Taylor Weiss and 1.95m performance from Grayson Ring. Also taking a first-place finish was Aidan Orth in the women's shot put with a distance of 12.28m. Tiffany Hix landed a second-place finish in the women's pole vault with a height of 3.2m.
