GRANVILLE, Ohio—Wittenberg track and field picked up multiple first place finishes at Denison's Last Chance meet on Friday afternoon. The Tigers saw success on both sides of action from Granville, as the Tigers return to action as a team next weekend at the 2017 NCAC Championship meet held at Oberlin College.

MEN'S TOP 6'S            

• Drew Campbell recorded a first place finish for the Tigers in the high jump with a leap of 1.83 meters.
• Alex Sheppard claimed first place in the 400 meter-dash for the Tigers with a finals heat of 52.76 seconds.
• Tayvone Morton narrowly finished in second place behind Campbell in the high jump with a finals leap of 1.78 meters.
• Jonathan Seay came in second place in the shot put with a finals heave of 13.21 meters.
• Freshman Marcus O'Neal claimed second place in the 60 meter-hurdles at 8.56 seconds.
• D'Anthony Dorsey also placed in the shot put for the men, finishing in third place with a throw of 13.18 meters.
• Dorsey also recorded a third place finish in the weigh throw with a finals toss of 14.98 meters.
• In the triple jump, Morton finished in third place with a leap of 12.08 meters.
• The 200 meter dash saw Ryan Hale finish in third place for Wittenberg with a finals time of 23.57 seconds.
• In the weight throw, Wittenberg saw Seay claim fifth place with a throw of 12.73 meters.
• Sophomore Kyle Farnbauch ran the 60 meter-hurdles finals in 8.79 seconds, good enough for fifth place.
• The 200 meter–dash for the Tigers also saw Brandon Johnson earn a fifth place finish with time of 23.78 seconds.
• Campbell was not done for the Tigers, claiming fifth place in the long jump with a finals leap of 5.86 meters.
• Tyler Gittins recorded a sixth place finish for the Tigers in the 60 meter-hurdles at 8.80 seconds.
• Garrin Bachinski came in sixth place in the 400 meter-dash on Friday, with a time of 56.78 seconds.
• Matt Entsminger also earned a sixth place finish for Wittenberg on Friday after running the 60 meter-dash finals in 7.22 seconds.
• In the 800 meter-run, Aaron Rutherford placed sixth for the Tigers in 2:09.88.
• Rounding out the Tigers day was Sheppard, who recorded a sixth place finish in the 200 meter-dash at 23.85 seconds.

WOMEN'S TOP 6'S

• Olivia Stevens paced the Tigers with a first place finish in the 60 meter-hurdles at 9.44 seconds.
• The 4x200 meter-relay team of Alaina Longshore, Katelyn McCohn, Katie Vorpe and Leah Hilley claimed first place with a finals time of 1:50.86.
• Courtey Huck finished third in the 200 meter-dash with a finals run of 27.13 seconds.
• Samantha Mitchell finished right behind Huck in the 200 meter-dash in fourth place with a finals time of 27.44 seconds.
• In the weight throw, Wittenberg saw Anissa Dann finish in fourth place with a finals heave of 13.05 meters.
• In the 800 meter-run, Wittenberg saw Staci Harmon claim sixth place with a finals time of 2:36.92.
• Hannah Meier rounded out the Tigers day with a sixth place fun in the 3000 meters at 11:51.86.
