Tigers Compete At All-Ohio Invitational

DELAWARE, Ohio — The Wittenberg men's and women's track and field teams made the short trip back to Ohio Wesleyan University just a week after competing in the Marv Frye Invitational there, this time finishing 15th and 13th, respectively, in the All-Ohio Invitational. 

Setting the pace for the women was junior Mary Pfeifer (Dublin, Ohio/Coffman) with a second-place finish in the 10,000-meter run. Junior Kari Domiano (Dublin, Ohio/Jerome) continued a fine spring with a pair of second-place medals in the 100- and 200-meter dashes, on times of 13.09 and 26.71.

On the men's side, senior Thomas McElwee (Herriman, Utah/Blue Valley) turned in a finish of fifth in the javelin on a heave of 156-02, while senior Kevin Frick (Columbus, Ohio/Grandview) was sixth in the 10,000-meter run on a time of 33:12.81.

The Tigers gear up next for the Wilmington Invitational hosted by Wilmington College on Friday, April 22.
