Tigers Celebrate Senior Day Against Terriers

Springfield, OH – The Wittenberg Tiger Swim program celebrated their one and only senior Doug Heighton, before taking on the Terriers from Hiram College. Wittenberg took 14 event wins on the day between the men's and women's program.

Addy Payne got the day started with a 1000 Freestyle win, clocking a time of 12:23.70.

Mackenzie Schuld earned a first-place win in the 200 free, touching the wall in a time of 2:08.01. Zach Parkman took the top spot in the men's 200 free, finishing in a time of 1:49.91.

Wittenberg took the top spots in the men's and women's 50 back. McKenna Clark claimed a first-place finish in a time of 32.88. Owen Gabel stopped the clock for a first-place finish with a time of 29.23.

Schuld and Parkman each added first-place finishes in the 100-yard butterfly event. Schuld finished in a time of 1:05.03. Parkman clocked a final time of 58.07.

Clark added her second event win of the day, taking the top spot in the 50 free with a time of 28.00. Addy Payne added a 100 free win, finishing in a time of 1:04.07.

Schuld claimed her third event win of the day with a 200-yard backstroke, clocking a final time of 2:23.22.

With Parkman taking the top spot in the 50 butterfly and Clark claiming first in the 100-yard IM. Mason Steen claimed the final first-place spot of the afternoon for the Tigers with a 100 IM win, finishing in a time of 1:00.82.
