
The men return 4 swimmers including Ryan Heighton, Bailey Jones, Anthony Petruzzi and Lukas Lindberg. Heighton finished in third place in the 500-yard freestyle against Anderson University last season. Petruzzi opened the season last year with second-place finishes in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:41.37) and 200-yard IM (2:12.76). He shaved three seconds off his 200 yard IM time in the home meet against Anderson University to finish second. The week after that, he shaved two more seconds off his time to take home another second-place finish. Petruzzi was also part of the 400-yard freestyle relay team that would capture a number of top 10 finishes all season. Lindberg shined in the home meet against Anderson earning third place in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 52.68.
The women return 7 swimmers including Abby Dunasky, Bridget Logan, Michelle Murray, Sophia Spriggs, and Meggie Suffoletta. Dunasky started off strong in the first meet of the year earning first place in the 1000 yard freestyle with a time of 11:40.73. As a freshman, Logan started contributing right away with two second-place finishes in the 100-yard freestyle (50.78) and 100-yard backstroke (1:03.32) in the home opener. The next week, she made a statement by finishing first in the 200-yard freestyle. Murray, Spriggs, Dunasky, and Logan led the 200 and 400-yard medley relay last season with multiple top 5 finishes. At the NCAC meet, Dunasky qualified for the C-finals in the 500-yard freestyle and the 400-yard IM, and the 400-yard relay team finished in eighth place.
