Tigers Suffer Loss Against NCAC No. 2 OWU

Springfield, OH- Wittenberg took on the Battling Bishops of Ohio Wesleyan under the lights on Edwards-Maurer Field in the Tigers sixth conference match-up of the year. The Red & White looked at a tough battle ahead against a team with two wins and two losses in the conference. After a long match, the Battling Bishops came out on top with a 3-0 score.

The Tigers now stand at number five in the NCAC with a 3-3 record in the conference and overall 8-5-1 record on the year.

NCAC Leaders: Kees Ciric lands in the top ten for shots taken on the year at number ten with 30 shots and number six for shots on goal with 17. Ciric managed to land some of those shots and sits at number four in the conference for goals with eight this season. With two assists and eight goals for a combined 18 points, Ciric sits at number three in the NCAC for points. Defensively, Sam Nitzberg lands at number four for saves with 42 on the year.
