Tigers End the Night with a Draw

Oberlin, OH -- The Wittenberg Tigers traveled out to Oberlin, Ohio to take on the Yeomen of Oberlin College. The Tigers battled it out, but after two overtimes, closed the game with a 2-2 tie. Wittenberg hit the net first in minute 36 by senior Eli Esterline with an assist from junior Aaron Craddock. The lead did not last long, as Oberlin tied it in the 41st minute. 

Both teams would be held from a goal until Wittenberg sophomore Nick Harding hit the net in the 75th minute giving the Tigers a 2-1 lead. The Yeomen tied it at 2-2 in the 80th minute, ending the game in a tie after double overtime. Junior goalie Cooper Robertson held Oberlin to two goals, saving eight shots. The Tigers tallied 13 total shots. 

The Tigers will be back in action at DePauw on Wednesday, October 13, at 7 p.m.
