Springfield, OH -- The Wittenberg Men's Soccer team had another long game at home, ending their match in a 0-0 double overtime. The game was a clean one, players moving around others with good footwork and passing lanes. Not until the end of the second half and into both overtimes did the game begin to get chippy. The Bulldogs of Adrian collected 20 fouls and a yellow card in 110 minutes of play, where the Wittenberg Tigers stayed in the single digits with nine.

Goaltender Jason Bowen was able to keep his net clean, with five saves against the Bulldogs. His defense kept Adrian on their side of the field, the Tigers keeping the ball in front of them. Senior Eli Esterline had four of the 13 shots on goal, the rest spreading the love through out the roster where six other Tigers where able to get in front and send their shot to the Bulldog goaltender.

Even with a final of 0-0, the Tigers dominated the match, but where unable to capitalize on the shots taken. They will be back in action at Wilmington College on September 14 at 7 p.m.
