Oberlin, Ohio – The Wittenberg men's soccer team surrendered two early goals and were kept scoreless by the opposing keeper in a 2-0 NCAC loss at Oberlin on Saturday night. With the loss, the Tigers dropped below .500 overall at 5-6-0 and are still in search of their first positive result in a conference match this season.

Oberlin's Jack McMillin proved to be the difference maker in the match against the Tigers as he scored the first goal of the match in the 11^th minute and was then credited with the assist on the second goal of the match scored by Nic Jandeleit in the 25^th minute.

The Yeomen held a narrow 12-9 advantage over the Tigers in total shots and also topped Wittenberg in corner kick opportunities by a 7-3 margin.

Despite allowing the two early goals, Wittenberg senior netminder Jack Snider settled in and finished the match with four saves in goal for the Tigers. In addition, seven different Tigers attempted a shot in the match, led by senior Alberto Zaragoza with three total looks at the net.
