Tigers Fall to Allegheny 2-1 in NCAC Battle

MEADVILLE, Pennsylvania- Wittenberg men's soccer looked to bounce back in NCAC play on Saturday, but mother nature, and the host Allegheny, had different plans. The Tigers were in a lengthy lightning delay ten minutes into the match, but when play resumed, the Tigers could not overcome a late first-half Allegheny goal. Wittenberg got on the board 48 seconds into the game, but the Gators were able to answer with a goal of there own a minute later. The Tigers trailed 2-1 after another Allegheny goal in the 15th minute, as the two teams would trade shots back in forth, as the second goal from Allegheny stood at the final horn.
