
GRANVILLE, OH-The Tigers traveled to Granville to take on the #21 Denison Big Red after a heart-breaking, last-second loss last time they played. In another close battle where the Tigers were within striking distance throughout the game, Denison pulled away at the end to secure the 64-56 win. Wittenberg's record fell to 8-13 (4-8 NCAC) and Denison's record improves to 19-2 (11-1 NCAC).
The Tigers and Big Red traded baskets throughout the first half, going into halftime with the game tied at 32. In the second half, it looked like the game was going to go the same way with the teams trading buckets after Cameron Harrison (Eaton , OH / National Trail) hit a three to cut the Denison lead to only four with a minute and a half left to play. But the Tigers went cold to end the game and Denison was able to pull away in the closing seconds to remain atop the league standings.
