
Delaware, OH-The Wittenberg Men's Basketball team traveled to Delaware to take on the Battling Bishops of Ohio Wesleyan looking to have a different outcome than when they played earlier this season, losing by eight at home. In a hard-fought game, the Tigers went into halftime with a lead and eventually the Battling Bishops brought the game back to even before outscoring the Wittenberg in overtime seven to six in order to take the win, 71-70. With the loss, the Tigers fell to 7-11 (3-6 NCAC) while Ohio Wesleyan moved to 11-7 (6-3 NCAC).
In the first half, Wittenberg built up an 11 point lead before Ohio Wesleyan was able to cut the deficit to four once the game reached halftime. At that point, Eddie Brown (Lewis Center, OH / Olentangy Orange) led the team with nine points, while Cameron Harrison (Eaton, OH / National Trail) logged eight. Brown also led the team at halftime in rebounds and assists as well, with five and four.
At the end of the second half, the Battling Bishops came back and had a three point lead over the Tigers. As time expired, Harrison converted on his fifth three of the game off of a pass from Dawson Scott (New Castle, IN / New Castle) to send the game to overtime. Both team were abe to keep the scoring to the minimum, but with a minute and half left, Ohio Wesleyan took a thre epoint lead and didn't look back to secure the 71-70 overtime win.
Team Leaders
- Similar to halftime, Brown led the team with 19 points and Harrison also finished in double figures with 17. Tyler Galluch (Springfield, OH / Catholic Central) rounded out the Tigers in double figures with 12 on the game.
- Brown was the only Tiger in double digits in rebounds with 14 to complete a double-double.
- Brown also had the most assists with six and Cal Bavineau (Dexter, MI / Dexter) finished the game with five.

- Wittenberg outrebounded the Battling Bishops 35-32 and had 19 assists to Ohio Wesleyan's 13.
