Wittenberg Falls to Undefeated DePauw

Springfield, OH- Wittenberg was on Edwards-Maurer Field for their third game in a four-day span against an undefeated DePauw team. The Tigers faced one of their toughest battles of the season, going against a team that had outscored opponents 34-9 this season. The Red & White would have to rely on their back-line more than they would like but were unable to stop the DePauw Tigers from scoring. Wittenberg fell 3-0 on the day, facing 11 shots with nine penalty corners.

Emma Hurguy stopped six shots from DePauw on the day after facing nine for a season save rate of 70.6% and 24 on the year. The Tigers stand at 6-7 on the year and 2-3 in the conference, currently ranked in the middle of the pack of the NCAC.

NCAC Leaders: Katie Webber cracks the top ten for goals in the NCAC at number ten with 5 on the season. Regan Mazzulli lands in the top ten for assists and points on the year. Mazzulli sits at number five for assists with four and number eight for points with 12 on the season. Lastly for Wittenberg, Caitlin Archdeacon sits at number two for save percentage in the conference with .862 and number four for saves with 50 on the season.
