Conference Battle Ends in Loss

Gambier, OH- The Tigers headed to Kenyon College for their fourth conference match-up of the season. In their second time seeing the Owls in action this season, Wittenberg hoped to even the score after facing a 1-0 loss earlier in the season. The Tigers were unable to improve their conference record, falling to the Owls with a 2-1 score today.

Meredith Johnson was able to score the Red & White's lone goal with an assist from Regan Mazzuli in the second quarter to head into the half with an even 1-1 score but the Tigers were unable to get ahead in the second half of play and fell 2-1 on the day.

NCAC Leaders: Regan Mazzulli lands in the top ten for assists and points on the year. Mazzulli sits at number eights for points with 12 on the season and number ten for assists with four. Lastly for Wittenberg, Caitlin Archdeacon sits at number two for save percentage in the conference with .862 and number four for saves with 50 on the season.
