Channa Visseren Completes Hat-Trick Before The Half

Delaware, Ohio – The Wittenberg field hockey team traveled to Ohio Wesleyan on Wednesday evening, taking down the Bishops 6-1 in the NCAC showdown. Channa Visseren wasted no time putting Wittenberg on the board with her first half hat-trick, starting the scoring just ten and a half minutes into the game. Kennedy Malcolm connected with Visseren on the penalty corner for the first Wittenberg goal. It would be Blaine Donnelly who would slip through the Bishop defense ten minutes later, giving the Tiger's a 2-1 advantage. Visseren completed her hat-trick before the intermission, with an assist coming via fellow Dutch teammate Veerle Van der Plas at the twenty-three-minute mark and just six minutes later finding the back of the Ohio Wesleyan goal unassisted.
