Earl Pope III joined the Wittenberg University Football coaching staff in January 2025, following a successful playing career for the Tigers.
A native of Miami, Florida, and a graduate of Miami Carol City High School, Earl was a wide receiver for the Tigers, who played three seasons in the Red & White. He was a two-year starter who caught 43 passes for 568 yards and seven touchdowns.
Earl earned his undergraduate degree in sport management from Wittenberg in May 2024, and he is pursuing his master's degree in sport administration. He is on schedule to complete his master's degree in May 2026.
His first coaching assignment is with the Tiger running backs. His brother, Ean, plays running back at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY.
