Chris Johnson joined Wittenberg University's football coaching staff prior to the 2024 season. He serves as an assistant defensive backs coach, working alongside Coach Nemeth.
Johnson is a native of West Chester, Ohio, where he graduated from Lakota West High School in the class of 2018. After starting his collegiate career at the University of Findlay, Johnson transferred to Capital University in 2022. He earned his undergraduate degree in Emerging Media, he was recognized as a Dean's List student, and he was a two-year letterwinner for the Crusaders.
In addition to Johnson's on-field coaching responsibilities, he is among the coaches responsible for recruiting the Southwest Ohio area for the Tigers.
