Ryan Born joined the Tiger baseball coaching staff in 2004 as a
student assistant coach.
Born, who batted a team-best .411 in 40 starts in 2003, ranks in
the top 10 in school history in several offensive categories and
holds the school record for career putouts. Born is on course to
graduate in May 2004 with a degree in history.
His primary coaching assignment is the team's first basemen, and he
will also help out around the batting cages.
