Mark Henninger became an assistant coach with the Tiger baseball program in 2002. He has served as a defensive backs coach for the Wittenberg football team since 2000, and also assisted the men's and women's track teams in 2001 and 2002.
A 1996 Wittenberg graduate, Henninger has served as a coach with
Millikin University, the Hamburg (Germany) Blue Devils American
Football Club and Wartburg College. At Millikin, Henninger served
as head coach of the junior varsity baseball team for two
years.
Henninger, a native of Indianapolis, Ind., and a 1992 graduate of
Roncalli High School, was a four-year football letterwinner at
Wittenberg. Henninger lives in Springfield with his wife, Jeni, and
their son, Jack.
