Lou Bruck made the move from student-athlete to student assistant coach for the Wittenberg Tigers prior to the 2015 season.

Bruck is a 2011 graduate of Milford High School near Cincinnati. He played baseball at Malone University in 2011 and 2012 before transferring to Wittenberg University and suiting up for two seasons. An injury ended his playing career, but it led to a coaching opportunity as a student assistant during the 2014-15 school year.

Bruck is working toward a bachelor's degree in Engilsh, with a sport management and communication double minor. He spends his summers coaching in the youth baseball organization Midland Braves.
