Kuris Duggan joined the baseball coaching staff at Wittenberg prior to the 2015-16 school year after serving as an assistant coach for hitters and catchers and an administrative assistant at his alma mater, the University of Dayton, during the 2015 season.

A 2013 graduate of Dayton, Duggan was the starting catcher for two seasons for the Flyers, leading the team to their first conference tournament championship and NCAA Division I Tournament appearance in school history in 2012.

Duggan and the 2012 Flyers won the Atlantic 10 Regular Season Championship, and also the Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament Championship, granting them a bid into the Regional in College Station, TX. Duggan threw out 52 percent of would-be base-stealers for the Flyers in his two seasons as a mainstay behind the plate.

In 2015, Duggan completed a Master of Arts in Mass Communication from the University of Dayton, and he is currently pursuing a Master of Athletic Administration from Gonzaga University.

A native of Flossmoor, Ill., Duggan earned all-conference and all-area honors as a high school catcher and pitcher under the guidance of Todd Sippel at Homewood Flossmoor High School.

Prior to his time at UD, Duggan played for legendary Head Coach Steve Ruzich at South Suburban Community College in South Holland, Ill. He played a key role in the Bulldogs' run to a 2011 NJCAA Region IV Title. 

Duggan resides in Columbus, Ohio, with his girlfriend, Katie Huesman, and dog, Brooser.
