Corey Hites joined the Wittenberg Baseball coaching staff prior to the 2018 season. He served as the Pitching Coach and Recruiting Coordinator for the Tigers that year.

Hites comes to Wittenberg after spending the last 3 years as an Assistant Coach at NCAA Division 2 Lake Erie College in Painesville Ohio. While at Lake Erie College Hites worked with the Outfielders, Catchers, Pitchers and served as Recruiting Coordinator. In his first year as recruiting coordinator, Lake Erie put together the top ranked early signee class in the state of Ohio for NCAA Division 2. Last year while working with the pitchers, Lake Erie set a school record for strikeouts in a season.

Prior to Lake Erie College Hites worked with ACE Baseball Inc. who worked in conjunction with the Cleveland Indians on their youth summer program.

Played his college ball at The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford while completing a Bachelors of Science in Sport and Recreation Management.

Received his Masters of Business Administration from Lake Erie College.
