Tigers Fall To Cougars From Concordia-Chicago

Springfield, OH – The Wittenberg Tiger Men's Volleyball team fell to the Cougars from Concordia-Chicago on Friday evening, 3-0 (25-22, 25-22, 25-21). Wittenberg posted a .062 hitting percentage on the night. Leading the way for the Tigers, Tom Supan put down nine kills on 22 total swings.

The two sides battled point for point throughout the match, as the Tigers were unable to find their stride against the Cougar defensive front.

Michael Yurk tallied a team-high .136 hitting-percentage, putting down eight kills on 22 swings. Yurk accounted for 10.5 Tiger points on the night, adding three digs, two service aces and a block assist. Andrew Diaz de Padilla accounted for a team-high 15 assists adding a team-high eight digs. Sam Richardson added 11 assists with one kill and three digs.
