Tigers Take Down Terriers In NCAC Opener

Hiram, OH – Wittenberg traveled to Hiram College for their first conference matchup of the season. In a 2-0 shutout win for the Tigers, midfielders Mackenzie Hessick and Paige Kaiser each found the back of the net. Kaiser put the Tigers on the board first capitalizing on the  assist by Brooke Mullis, giving Wittenberg the lead, 1-0. Hessick earned the penalty kick for Wittenberg, nearing the 80th minute to put the Tigers ahead, 2-0.

Splitting the action in the goal for the Tigers were Badin Clark and Katie Wisniewski, with one save each on the day.

Up next: The Tigers will return to action this Wednesday, at 7:00 PM, on Edwards-Maurer Field for their Code Red game against NCAC opponent, the Denison Big Red.
