Quote - Head coach Ashley Goodwin

  • "I want to thank our fans for showing up today after the last-minute game time change. The support was great. In Game 1, our pitchers, Kira and Lilly, were dominant, but we just couldn't push enough runs across. In Game 2, we came out flat and found ourselves down 4-0 to a very good OWU team. Our bats caught fire, and we never looked back, scoring seven unanswered runs. Our pitching was dominant again with Julie putting us in position to win and Lilly shutting the door. Ashlynn had an amazing offensive day, and Hanna and Syd came through with timely hitting. I'm proud of our squad for never giving up. We are looking forward to hosting Wooster on Saturday."
